Spring is here! Let's make a cute little Daisy bow for your little girl and yourself. I created the daisy bow template for the Spring theme in SVG, PDF, DXF, JPEG, DXF, and EPS formats, you can make it with glitter faux leather, felt, or paper. It's so easy and fun, and hope you will love it!
Glitter Faux leather
Hot glue gun
Needle and thread (Optional)
Get your hair bow pieces ready:
Place a dab of glue in the middle of the bow, fold one side to the middle then repeat the step on the other side.
Stack and glue the two flower petal pieces together.
Glue the bow and the flower petals together
You are going to make a pinch bow now. Grab your bow piece then find the middle of the bow and fold it in half.
Make a crease then make a fold on both sides then press them back together. Hold it tight and secure it with thread or you can just hot glue it. I'm going to sew it.
Put a needle through the middle of the bow then wrap around the middle a couple times then trim off the thread. Stack the petal piece, the bow, and the pinch bow and glue them together.
Get your rectangle strip and wrap around the center of the bow. Then turn to the back, fold down the strip's end and glue it down. Glue the alligator clip on the top and put some glue inside it while opening up the clip. Then pull the strip tight, wrap that up and press. The strip will go pass the clip then you can add a little bit of glue on its end and cut off the excess. Glue the little dot piece in the center and it's done!
Isn't it easy and fun? No need to have a cutting machine! You can print out on card stock, use it as a template and use it as many times as you want.

Daisy bow template:
I created a cottontail bunny bow months ago. I would like to share how to assemble a cottontail bunny bow step by step.
First, download the file and unzip it. I uploaded it to Cricut Design Space then right click to ungroup it.
Have your glitter sheet ready, put it on your mat then send it to cut.
Since I used different glitter sheet for this project so I needed to adjust the machine setting and used different blade each time when the glitter sheet was different. If you are using Cricut Maker, you can click on the link below to learn more about the machine setting.
Stack and hot glue the pieces together.
Glue the little strip at the back of the bow then get your alligator clip ready. You can use a double prong alligator clip, single prong alligator pinch clip with teeth, or the others.
I used the partially lined double prong alligator clip, glued it to the back of the bow then continue to wrap around the strip and secure it with glue. Cut off the excess.
Glue the cottontail to finish.
Ta-da! You just finished a cute little cotton tail hair bow! I hope you enjoy the project, thank you!
Today I'm going to show you how to make a hair bow with Cricut Maker. But you can use any cutting machines like Cricut explore, or Silhouette Cameo.
People always ask me what kind of material do I use? I know there are so many different kinds of materials to choose from and sometimes you just don't know what you should get. I'm not going to go through all the materials in this topic but I would like to show you what kind of glitter fabric sheets I use the most. I always use the fine glitter sheet, glitter sequins fabric faux leather sheet, and chunky glitter stereoscopic sequins faux leather sheet. They all vary in their looks and thickness.
CRICUT STRONG GRIP MAT
I use Cricut strong grip mat for all the glitter sheets.
Fine Glitter sheet
Setting:Plastic Felt, Craft Bonded
Tool:Bonded fabric blade
Glitter Sequins Fabric Faux Leather Sheet
Chunky Glitter Stereoscopic Sequins Faux Leather Sheets
Setting:4-5 oz. Tooling leather
Usually, you need to go through 6 passes but you don't need to. The machine will pause a few seconds before it moves on to the next pass so you can check the glitter sheet during the pause. If you find out the sheet is cut through then simply press the unload button to end the cut. I always skip 1-2 passes in this setting.
Please note they are only my preferable settings, I believe there are some other settings can do the job. So you can explore it, and let me know what other settings can do the trick! I hope you can have good success!
